advice for difficult or unusual projects.
We are happy to undertake a measure only, but will only fit if
we have also measured the site. This service is available
throughout London and the Southeast.

Fabric Requirements
Blinds up to 122cm (4’) wide – Overall drop + 40cm (16")
Blinds over 122cm (4’) wide – 2 x overall drop + 80cm (32")
With Base Shape – Plus 25cm (10") or 1 x Pattern repeat
whichever is the greater
Lining for Roman Blinds – Each overall drop + 1m
Please remember to allow for any pattern repeat

Measuring – OUTSIDE the Recess see left
Decide by how much the fabric should overlap the recess (we suggest at least 50mm (2") on each side) and measure the total width. Measure the drop in the same way.

Measuring – INSIDE the Recess see left
We require the exact recess width and drop. We will make the necessary
allowances. Remember to take the recess measurement at the top of the window where the blind is to be fitted. For Roller blinds the fabric width will be 38mm (1.5") narrower than the recess width.
