Decide by how much the fabric should overlap the recess (we suggest at least 50mm (2”) on each side) and measure the total width. Measure the drop in the same way.
Please provide the exact recess width and drop. We will make all necessary allowances during production. Measure the recess width in three places: at the top of the window (where the blind will be fitted) and at two additional points within the recess. Always provide the smallest measurement together with the measurement at the top of the recess.
This is particularly important where splashbacks, tiling, or other obstructions may reduce the usable width, ensuring the roller blind fabric does not come into contact with these areas. For roller blinds, the fabric width will be 38 mm (1.5”) narrower than the overall recess width.
